SLIP HALTER KIMONO DRESS

Slip dress with V-neck and asymmetrically positioned back cape.

Made in diagonal patchwork with panels taken from the silk of an ancient kimono found in Kyoto and a contrasting back with the application of crimson red fabric.

• Black kimono with traditional Shibori estimation technique with floral motifs in pink and ecru.
• Red silk Habotai taken from inside the Kimono. 

Shibori is a traditional Japanese technique that involves dyeing fabric with the smallest possible knots to emphasize the three-dimensionality of the fabric, in this case forming flowers positioned and colored by hand.
